Gua Sha Therapy
Gua sha fasa therapy is a healing method consisting in scratching and scraping places on the body according to the principles of traditional Chinese medicine. This process proceeds until the onset of petechiae. Massage of this type is applied to the whole body with an emphasis adapted to the part of the body.
Gua sha made of natural stones, for example, jade, wood, buffalo horn or metal is used. The instrument should be sufficiently rounded so as not to hook the surface of the skin, not to cause pain or discomfort. The line of therapy is always rubbed in one direction (from the return movement).
